Could be, but it also could be from someone who works in a hospital, is aware of the way hospital staff become infected during patient care and is recommending best and safest tactics for the hospital employees and best care for these patients. Not sure he/she has any expertise with this particular virus but rather this is a reflection of concerns for a more deadly infectious agent. IMO his/her description of a sudden surge of sick patients would be expected in a deliberate biological agent attack of a population rather than the current pattern of patient sick visits. He/she may simply be concerned about something that might happen in the future and sharing the information.
Again, IMO the actual information provided suggests a good understanding of the risks and appropriate preventive actions in the event of a deadly contagious disease outbreak of sudden onset.
