Pompeo warns of coronavirus disinformation and tells public to seek out ‘reliable’ sources
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo urged the public to seek out accurate information on the coronavirus. At the daily coronavirus briefing at the White House, Pompeo said every person should turn to "a reliable source and not a bad actor trying to create information that they know is wrong."
Pompeo, who called the virus "the Chinese virus," said that malign sources have advanced false stories about the illness emanating from the U.S. Army and false information about lockdowns.
