Not sure if anyone has commented on the black container that seemingly has two lids…. Looks like a canister for loading photography film for processing. Inside would be a metal spool like a giant sewing machine bobbin that the undeveloped film is wound onto. The larger lid goes on and the smaller lid can then be removed to add chemistry to develop the film. The larger lid has light baffles to keep out light yet allows liquid in/out.
Then again, it could be something else but that's what it looks like to me. Pic related.
