They are dead.

My son has Chinese friend who finally messaged from Hong Kong trying to get out. When he first messaged, he was in one of the many cities that was protesting. There were protests because the government was bringing in all kinds of cremation equipment. They were all scared. They do not trust their government. The young man said he walked out of a building face first into protests, ran toward the water, found many police raping women, killing them, hanging them on the docks calling them suicides.

We lost him for a long time, thought he was dead.

Two weeks ago he messaged from Hong Kong.

I have no screenshots of the second point of contact.

His first comment?

Hong Kong is dead.

He said everyone was hearing rumors that the people who were being taken by the police were being taken to incinerators.

We had to tell him that based on the incineration in China causing smoke so thick no one could see, and based on the sulfer dioxide everywhere (burning of organic material) that those rumors might be true.

He said police were being given bonuses for throwing people off buildings, out windows, or killing people. They had to film it to prove it to get their payments.

We asked him whether more people were dying from the virus, or the government.

He said "Definitely the government".

Been a while.

We have not heard from our friend.

Still hoping he is alive and well, and that we will hear from him again some day.
