From my L.A. location, by way of radio scanner, I've been listening to the behind the scenes chatter by all the FD first responders on their official, city supported radio network. Under this emergency, they have been on air daily to update each other on what's happening across L.A. county. Two days ago a Long Beach port based responder reported all systems go at the port. "Operations are normal," is the official word. I posted a video of that conversation two days ago. Haven't heard that status change.
