Goading an anon to do as you assume they must, isn't helpful.
Nice!!!
I'm completely fine with my tax dollars no longer supporting the cheap shit you get in the mail.
Heard and agreed.
It is mainly to the public servants that we can seek redress and change. With rampant corruption in gov, we get situations similar to amazon with Pharma, banking, big ag, insurance, and a so on so on so forthโฆ
What to do when the corruption is so deep?
IF USPS stopped all BAD deals for bulk mailing for amazon, walmart, Comcast spam, credit card companies, and so onโฆ I wouldn't be surprised if pates for the citizens could be lowered.
How much does it cost a huge company to put a piece of mail in my mailbox? 2 or 3 cents? 6 cents?
*rates
The price of a basic letter stamp was steady between 2 and 6 cents between the years of 1863 - 1971.
A coke cost the same from 1886 - 1959, 5 cents.
We've been looted.
Cleaning up corruption and bad practices at the USPS would not require constitutional changes. Hell, perhaps the constitutional rights of the citizens could be championed as a reason for them to be brought into line as 'good actors' for the people.
Just spitballin'
