Hypothesis: Did a relative of Bill Gates start the 1918 flu pandemic by way of an experimental meningitis vaccine used on military recruits in Kansas?

Not saying this is the case, but there is some circumstantial evidence. A Rockefeller trained doctor by the name of Frederick Gates was testing a meningitis vaccine at the same location and time as the apparent start of "Spanish" flu.
