This is a magnum opus by the media establishment in terms of hyperbole. There are real problems, but people see what the media decides to focus on. Is it any different from normal, but the media is placing focus on it? Is the media… Displacing time? Are pictures of crisis from this specific time and crisis? Are pictures of panic-buying, for example, "real" - or picked from among pictures of the standard fare of unusual - now focused and amplified?

There is a reason why isolation and electron microscopy is the standard for identifying a viral infection. I can't tell you what to believe about HIV - but sometimes the question and understanding the debate over the truth is more important than any agreed upon truth or reality.
Once you understand why - you then should question how much we truly know about viruses and infectious illnesses.
