Why is it that every damn time we have a crisis, real or manufactured, government interests are the first in with new police state powers? And they think that this can be accepted because the Treasury is tossing out a few half eaten bones to the hapless populace?

No. Fuck this. And doubly fuck then for trying.

The DOJ should do its fucking job and indict some high profile criminals, not look for ways arbitrarily to deprive ordinary people of their freedom without due process. Because you know these powers will be used against those least able to defend themselves.

These fucking useless bureaucrats don’t comprehend the value of time. They would be quite happy to let this bullshit fester for 18 months while they follow established protocols, even in existing medications. Meanwhile the US economy and its people are toast and we’re living in something worse than the Great Depression.
