Biology corroborates the Bible. Some men will be attracted to men. Some women will be attracted to women. That's why there's a prohibition against this behavior. Otherwise there would be no need for a prohibition.
Physical attraction is mediated by hormones and obviously the signals can get mixed up.
I read a book years ago written by a Doctor who was helping men to overcome their attraction to other men. These men felt physical pleasure but were emotionally conlicted. After extensive interviews with his patients, the doctor found that all of these people had experienced some form of abnormal, un-naturaral physical contact at some point in their childhood.
The conflict arose because of the physicsl pleasure they felt in their bodily contact as opposed to their emotional rejection of what they experienced, usually shortly after the encounter.
Their brains were telling them that something was wrong while their bodies were telling then the exact opposite.
