=Latest confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada.
this morning the number of confirmed cases jumped by about 300, or by about 30%. the number of new cases has been rising daily, untill this evenings update. it only went up by 128, or 9%. epidemiological patterns would predict a rise of 400-600 cases. as canada was experiencing a wave of 2nd and 3rd generation communal infections, new cases suddenly dropped by 21%. maybe its cause its sunday and staffs are at minimal capacity, or maybe some provinces are late in reporting, who knows. but the 2nd daily updates have come as late as 11pm waiting on reports in the past.
one mockingbird talking point in syrupland has been "a majority of cases are from travelers, or people with close contact with travelers". which is even included in 3rd pic related. this still remains technically true, with the updated Epidemiological summary data indicating that 51% of cases fall within this category. how convenient. i hope this is just an isolated SNAFU but will continue to monitor for a pattern of fuckery.
