I seem to recall that Rand Paul's attacker, (back yard attack), was re-sentenced as his sustenance didn't follow guide lines; He also was sued by Paul and lost which caused the attacker to sell his home and give proceeds to Paul . With that I remember hearing that he was paid by someone on the D side to perform the attack. With that thinking there is a good case to make that Rand Paul maybe testifying against the conspirators who created this series of events.
