Why doesn't Turtle put up a motion to allow senators at home to vote electronically?
I see a two-fold problem. For someone like Romney, rather than a fuck you vote against anything that would make POTUS look good, he reports a staffer has tested positive and stays home "out of abundance of caution'. No difference between not voting and a no vote, except he doesn't get ass-blasted for a no vote like he did on the impeachment vote.
Against the loyal Trump voters, if you were a dem and wanted your shit rammed through, just send someone to infect one of their staffers. I'm past the point of believing they're so firmly devoted to the 'high road' that they wouldn't resort to that.
The other thing is, dems whose staffers are positive don't announce it and don't voluntarily quarantine.
We need absentee voting, at least temporarily. Put the motion up and see who screams about it, I say.
