I feel your sentiment, but f the media can get them worked up over a non-issue ("Russia Russia Russia, Putin's puppet") doncha think a real, visceral, story like "these people you think you know, love, respect and trust were trying to KILL you" can be presented in a manner sufficient to create outrage?
