I guess you have an NVidia GPU.
Pretty sad. I have a new (Navi) AMD hardware and everything works, except for some minor tears and the dready reset bug. I don't run it for too long, maybe 2 weeks. Yeah, I have to run the most bleeding edge software, including kernel 5.6, because reportedly 5.5 is bugged on that, but otherwise I'm really satisfied and probably never buying NVidia again.
