Ok guise,

A bit of information re: Covid-19. I work at a medium sized hospital in the Houston area.

Because I take a daily oral medication/chemo for leukemia, my immune system is a bit more compromised than normal. The director of the Respiratory dept. is aware of my condition and recommended me to stay clear of a couple areas in the hospital that have a few patients that have been confirmed to have tested positive for the virus. She did not give me the number of patients nor their current condition.

If there is any skepticism..certainly like I've thought throughout this whole mess, it would appear for me anyway to put those thoughts to rest.

That said, "do not fear" as was said. Take the precautions seriously but go on about your business. This too shall pass..

Nor is the hospital overflowing. Is like a ghost town to be quite honest. Security measures and screening at selected entrances of the hospital requiring day passes in effect. There is a make-shift drive thru at the ER for people having symptoms to have screening performed.
