theyre interpreting the data wrong. an anon made the same mistake on the board recently
the graph depicts the day that a confirmed case, had their symptoms start. it makes sense that there are fewer new cases with symptoms starting in the most recent days, as people usually wait a bit to get tested, then have to wait for the results. you can see the same trend in canada's data of the same parameters.
