OLYMPIA, Wash. - Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to make some announcements during a statewide address about the coronavirus later Monday that will be carried live on KOMO-TV and on komonews.com.

In his address, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Inslee is expected to outline new guidelines for staying at home, and how that could affect businesses across the state.

On Monday, state health officials said over 100 people around Washington have died from the coronavirus outbreak with 2,221 total confirmed cases.

So far, the governor has resisted issuing a mandatory shelter-in-place order like those issued last week by California and New York.
