SITREP from LA County: Went for a drive to my bank 3 miles away down a major boulevard in an LA County suburb about 15 miles from Downtown LA. Saw a lot of fast food places open such as a taco place with a window to the sidewalk, a donut shop or a major burger restaurant with customers inside as examples. Love to see a little peaceful noncompliance. The business ban is not being adhered to by small restaurants and I support them. Life goes on. Saw POTUS’ speech today and get the feeling he would open businesses up tomorrow but for optics.
True. And the Walgreens and CVS stores open too. Understand, I drove within a block of that city’s Police department and observed a couple of PD going on shift. Obviously, that city and LE have decided to leave businesses alone and it is basically a pre-affirmation of what POTUS said today. We are going to just have to get along with hygiene and common sense.
