  1. Seeing all IPs doesn't mean easily filtering through them to find the right one. Remember CM trawled the access logs for us ONLY ONCE, because it was such a chore.

  2. Knowing "what" exactly, kemosabe? Why would he need to change IPs if he didn't know that particular one was comped before CM's confirm? You assume his proxy chain cycles and changes order based on one sample, but if you checked every thread where Q was posting, ESPECIALLY before /ga/ got purged the first time, you would see he kept them consistent.

Wrong order. He FIRST confirmed with CM that him being unable to log in wasn't the fault of 8ch software and CM confirmed his last login from that IP, which THEN allowed him to know that that particular IP was comped.
