POTUS thanked three South American governments in the past 2 pressers. Yesterday was Peru and Honduras. They had gotten one group out of Peru and working on more. He thanked the government of Peru for their help. Then he thanked the government of Honduras for their assistance with an operation, an operation led by General Milley, who does not play games, that led a military extraction operation for a young American woman in a certain country. That horrible things almost to the point of death were being dome to her, and she is now with her parents and they are keeping it private for now.

Today POTUS confirmed the military operation took place in Honduras, where she was being held. He did not elaborate further on that situation. He also said they were working on getting Americans out of Brazil, and thanked the government of Brazil for their help assisting Americans that had gotten stuck there.
