The question is, was it always there and we just didn't notice?
For a while I've believed the decoupling from China was one of the ultimate goals. One thing that would ensure that is war.
What if the Necessary Disinfo is the entirety of the virus. POTUS seems very confident that it will magically disappear very soon.
Possible EMP (from china) causing 10 days of darkness (or darnkess), followed by a declaration of war that ends very quickly with China throwing up their hands because they've already killed a significant portion of their own population with the real virus + the fact that we aren't doing ANY business with them at all.
Meanwhile, POTUS has already begun moving production of the bare necessities from China to the US.
From this comes the inevitable round-up of all the assholes in power that have sold out to the Enemy.
