Catching up on notables before I go workfag and that 144 notable caught my attention. That number is really important to Jehovah Witnesses because they believe in the end times, there will be 144,000 that reign on the new earth with Jesus for 1000 years (I think I got that right, a good friend is a witness, I am not, but it's not what people think it means, they don't think only 144,000 of them go to heaven, that's a common misconception). In the regular bible, I believe this is referring to the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12,000 in each tribe. Maybe a bible fag can explain the significance of that number better than I can, but that was my 1st reaction when I saw that number, because it is definitely a number God uses in the Bible.
