this mistake is being made over and over again. the graph does not display number of new cases

the graph doesnt depict number of new cases. it depicts on which date, new cases started their symptoms. this graph has maintained its pattern as the dates at the bottom progress. it makes sense that the symptoms of newly confirmed cases had their symptoms start days ago, as people dont immediately seek treatment, then have to wait for test results. the same pattern can be seen in the data from canada of the same parameters as shown in first pic related. second pic related is number of new cases. i checked CDC website for graph depicting new cases and they dont even have one. they only display this misleading data. fucking sumbags.
