How to dig on rail lines. This is regarding the posting of the Wisconsin train carrying military vehicles. The YT video description says that is a normal occurrence in that part of Wisconsin, the transferring of non-combat ready military vehicles from an Oshkosh, WI factory.

Sure enough, if you search Oshkosh and military vehicle manufacturing, Oshkosh Defense will show up. Click on their contact tab and their physical address is provided. Head over to your favorite mapping service, enter that address, and boom. My mapping preference is ACME Mapper, which shows rail lines. So does Google, but fuck Google.

Sure enough, there is a rail branch going to that factory, which connects to a main branch through Oshkosh, then all parts throughout North America. The factory is also very near the airport, which offers another transport option.

Then, since the video title also mentions the location of Genesee Depot, enter that name on the mapper FIND feature, and that exact location shows up, including a rail line running through that intersection. then follow that to see where there might be a military base that has a rail branch. Many, if not most, do. a surprising number of key bases do not, however. 29 Palms in CA, a Marine base, for example. All their serious vehicles must be trucked in at quite a distance from a rail line.
