Not the way you expect a novel that is billed as a comic masterpiece of modern misunderstanding to start out.
Benchley (author of Jaws and The Deep and former speech writer for Lyndon Johnson) writes what could have been a story from his own life. Tim Burnham is one of the President’s writers who receives his Q clearance (along with a GS step 9 raise to $59,800) while living in a rented house with an ungrateful family. His thrust into the inner circle of the President leads to his future entanglement as a leaker of information through a relationship with the daughter of a Russian spy. Lots of quaint 80’s references ($5 cab rides, paper shredders, re-used cassette tapes) and was a good read for anyone who wants a new perspective.
The underlying theme of the novel is that Tim becomes the trusted voice and ally of the President and a conduit for getting the truth to the American people. Sound familiar to anyone here?
I would suggest that POTUS or others on Team Q have at least read the book at sometime in their lives and maybe used it as a motivation for their current operation.

Agree that it shouldn't be spread but if Hogg is a 25 year old crisis actor as has been alleged then he would already have his "adult" features at the time of Sandy Hook.
Sandy Hoax stunk of faked fuckery. They needed a "bad guy" image. Could have been a previous crisis actor role for our actor Mr. Hogg. Highly speculative though. Best kept here.
Yearbooks in Soviet Socialist Canuckistan are very centralized (as are school pictures). Think the yearbook sauce would be very helpful to establish Mr. Hoggs history.
Anyone have any connection to the publishing company(ies) used? Or family members with a hard copy of either the Florida school or the school in California that Hogg was previously attending?

Yes the school library normally has a copy of all yearbooks. Also staff members get a copy every year if any one knows a teacher Anon. Families with multiple children also tend to have all years sequentially. Anyone Anons with relatives there?
Do we have the alleged HS in California that Mr. Hogg attended?
That photo was heavily photoshopped (look at the Mickey Mouse job on his hair) to make him look scarier.
Remember it from the papers at the time thinking WTF. Was surreal the whole incident and I took a personal interest for professional reasons (not DOXXING myself).
