"Kodachrome" probably really is a double entendre, the film and what the world turns into when you're tripping on adrenochrome. It's why they use the phrase "Over the rainbow". It all makes sense. I mean, why would anyone take his Kodakchrome? You can go over the rainbow with mescaline, which is why it's called "San Pedro" in South America - Saint Peter with the keys to heaven. "Sounds of Silence" is probably about this, too. "My eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light" is a pretty good description of the onset of a DMT trip.
