We have just been through a DRESS REHEARSAL for a real pandemic. What the Deep State might release on us, in their death throes.
POTUS obviously did anticipate that they might.
Supply line dependency on foreign countries has been reduced. (Hussein left hospital equipment reserves at a low, just as he left our military depleted of equipment and ammo, to deliberately weaken America.)
POTUS has activated the Defense Production Act. He is a WARTIME PRESIDENT.
The people willingly followed his leadership, fearing for their safety – and TRUSTING HIM.
A financial cushion (will have been) created for ordinary Americans.
People have stocked up (a little bit) on basic supplies and been taught a mini-lesson on self-reliance. Which hopefully will stick.
Student loans and mortgage payments paused for some.
I woke up with a strange phrase in muh mind:

The narrative shift was almost shocking to me after all the pandemic hype preceding it.

POTUS GOT WHAT HE NEEDED.
I'm still not sure what he needed, but let's enumerate what he GOT:

Cooperation of big US industrial giants to manufacture stuff domestically that we used to depend on China for

Ability to command the entire economy

Ability to tell Americans to stay home and stay off the streets … and we/they cooperated

Temporary home-schooling of kids

Distance learning

Cut thru medical red tape
-
Demonstrate duplicity of Big Pharma industry … they do NOT want cheap proven solutions … they want long complicated approval paths with lots of red tape and approval stages and bureaucracy … they want to stay in CONTROL
-Libs whose primary mindset is "trust the authorities" rethinking that concept
-Libs who tend not to think of self-reliance or self-defense starting to think "what can I do to mitigate my own risks? (in life, not just in an epidemic)
Many other things.
These few come to mind readily.
