So far, no “children” have died! The youngest was 14, an “adolescent”, in China, who was likely immune compromised.
The FEAR PORN could not be more obvious.
Mayor's quote: "Keep your children home. This is no longer an old people's disease." No, it still is an old people's disease. Nothing has changed. It's a headline that the FIRST US child has died, when 808 adults have died. And he was a 17. He's only a "child" because the law defines him as such.
If you have a kid that has preexisting conditions, yes, keep them home. And understand that people that are higher risk can get the disease from the children. But this quote is meant to scare parents. Maybe scare into doing the right thing, but it's still a false statement.
