How the fuck is this notable. As someone who worked in the field of nucleic acid diagnostics as a patent attorney, this author doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. Tests can be qualitative or quantitative and often amplify a sequence unique to the organism/virus of interest. His understanding of "false positives" is also completely incorrect. It has nothing to do with comorbidity of other conditions or which condition is the "real" cause of symptoms. This board has gone to shit and people are reposting this shit on Twitter, which makes this movement look stupid.
