>Just always heard iodine is good for nuclear shit. Talking to Anons, as stated.
So you're an idiot. I got it.
Potassium iodide is used when there is potential exposure to NUCLEAR radiation. In the right dose, it will saturate the thyroid gland and block absorption of a radioactive iodine isotope, potentially mitigating against thyroid cancer.
Cellular telephony uses RADIO waves of specific frequencies, not nuclear radiation. They are entirely different categories of electromagnetic radiation, entire different in their effect on the human body.
If you don't know the difference between NUCLEAR IONIZING radiation and the cellular wireless frequency spectrum, you need to do a whole lot of reading.
Then if you decide to stockpile potassium iodide in case of a nuclear explosion near you, you need to be really careful about the dose because the stuff can harm you if taken willy-nilly.
