I grew up on the South Side of Chicago in the 1960s.

After HS, I joined the Army for 3 yrs.

When I got out of the Army, I went to college.

Had to take Am. Hist 101 and 102

I remember reading in a college history book about "White Flight" during the 1960s.

I got so mad. The book said that the whites left the city because they didn't like living with the blacks. That is the biggest crock of shit I ever saw in a history book that I can vouch for bc I lived through it personally.

That is when I started to really see how slanted the history books are.

Q said to check out old hist. books vs newer hist. books relating to WW II. Once people start dying off, "they" can start telling bigger lies, bc the people who actually lived through it are no longer around to object to the lies and set the record straight.

My dad was in WW II and he said that the hist. books were not portraying Gen. MacArthur properly. I don't remember the specifics. I wish now that I had asked him more questions. Sadly, my dad has been gone for the last 8 yrs.
