What they don’t explain is that the death and resurrection of Christ is the pattern of carnal man dying off and the Christ nature rising up. His resurrection, our death. It’s the reason for the crown of thorns before being crucified = carnal mind. With the resurrection comes the mind of Christ, gold crown.
Here’s what Pilate said when presenting the man Jesus to the people to be crucified:
“Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!”
And in some religions that have a statue of what they call Christ on the cross, they hang it on the wall behind the stage. But unbeknownst to them that’s really man on the cross. The Christ nature through us is the cross that crucifies man. That’s why it’s called the cross of Christ.
“I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me…”
Take that in a macro level and apply it to the world system that is currently being crucified, and the good that is rising up because of this death of it. Forget about religion, it applies to nothing.
