I was diag'd as type 2 diabetes in July 2018. I went onto 2 days a week, intermittent fasting (reduced calories) to reduce the fat around the organs. I was given 3 months to prove that I was able to control the glucosamine in my blood by my doctor. Then I would be on metformin for the rest of my life. I take no meds for t2-diabetes. The intermittent fasting did the trick. I also do High Intensity Interval excersises at home. Fasting works! My doc was GOBSMACKED!
