Can social distancing hide Biden from voters until November?

Democratic Party front-runner Joe Biden has rejected the possibility of holding a televised debate with challenger Bernie Sanders, raising questions about his campaign’s strategy going forward.

Asserting that “we’ve had enough debates,” the former vice president claimed that he is focused on combating the coronavirus outbreak. “My focus is just dealing with this crisis right now,” Biden said on Wednesday, when asked if he wanted another debate next month. “I think we should get on with this.”

Mainstream media is generally treating his decision as an understandable reaction to the new realities of social distancing, with the New York Times reporting that “Biden has been forced off the physical campaign trail because of the coronavirus outbreak, and is grappling with new ways to connect with voters and break through in the news media.”

But his dismissal of the opportunity to meet his opponent in a one-on-one debate fueled speculation that his campaign is afraid of giving him too much public exposure. With hashtags such as #WhereIsJoeBiden trending on Twitter, critics pointed out that the DNC had promised 12 Democratic debates and there have been just 11 so far.

The rejection of another debate with Sanders comes after several public appearances that drew widespread scrutiny for signs of Biden’s apparent cognitive decline and possible health concerns. In a series of interviews this week, Biden repeatedly coughed and acted confused, sometimes making statements that made little sense.

New law in Hungary could put journalists behind bars for spreading fake news about COVID-19

The Hungarian National Assembly is scheduled to vote on March 31 on a set of amendments to the country’s penal code that would indefinitely extend the current state of emergency in place in response to the coronavirus outbreak, and which would impose prison sentences on those deemed to be spreading false information about the pandemic, according to news reports and the amendments, which CPJ reviewed. Hungary declared a state of emergency on March 11, cancelling most public events and restricting entry into the country, according to reports.

Government officials and pro-government media outlets have accused independent media organisations of spreading false information when they have questioned the government’s approach to handling the coronavirus crisis, according to news reports. The amendments include prison sentences of up to three years for those convicted of spreading falsehoods about the virus that is “alarming or agitating [to] a large group of people,” and would impose prison terms of up to five years for those convicted of spreading falsehood or “distorted truth” that has negative repercussions for public health.

RIP Dr. Toni Bark, Physician and Fighter for Vaccine-Injured Kids

Autism Investigated has just learned that Dr. Toni Bark has tragically passed away of cancer. Dr. Bark was a physician who went against her profession by taking on the third rail of vaccine injury. She was never afraid to speak her mind, as can be seen by how she handled a reporter in the below video.

Dr. Bark also recognized problems in the vaccine injury movement. She spoke candidly to Autism Investigated in 2015 about how effective messaging was sidelined during protests against SB277: the legislative bill that would end “non-medical” vaccine exemptions for children in California.

She was a shining light both in a corrupt medical profession indemnified from vaccine injury liability as well as in the vaccine injury movement fraught with tension, compromise and backstabbing. She will be missed.

Information on Dr. Toni Bark’s memorial service can be found on Ever Loved. Now watch her destroy British Channel 4’s Cathy Newman.

Wicked, Immoral Woman: Pelosi Tried to Ram Illegal Ballot Harvesting into Coronavirus Stimulus Bill

For Speaker Pelosi, it was never about helping people. It was only about power.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to ram illegal voter harvesting into the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill.

Warning to all who care about voter fraud: This Pelosi voting provision MUST NOT be allowed in the final relief package! https://t.co/9uUDMyC6tq

— Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) March 26, 2020

The illegal ballot harvesting provision was removed from the final package but only because Pelosi got caught.

What an evil, wicked woman.

Democrats know cheating by voter harvesting works.

The Democrat Party flipped 7 of 14 Republican House seats in California in 2018 thanks only to voter harvesting tactics.

Ballot harvesting is illegal in most states. In Texas, New York and Pennsylvania they arrest people for ballot harvesting.

Pelosi wants to make to stuff this into the coronavirus stimulus plan.

The Daily Caller wrote about ballot harvesting in 2018.

Second developer flew 82 tonnes of medical supplies to China

A second Chinese property company based in Sydney flew more than 80 tonnes of medical supplies on a corporate jet to Wuhan in late February, at the time coronavirus was devastating the regional city.

"The chartered plane with 90 tons (82 tonnes) of medical supplies, including 100,000 most needed protective coveralls and 900,000 pairs of medical gloves, has successfully departed from Sydney and arrived in Wuhan on 24 Feb," Risland Australia posted on its LinkedIn page.

Risland, formerly known in Australia as Country Garden, is a totally owned subsidiary of Country Garden Holdings, one of China’s largest property developers.

Its major shareholder is 38-year-old Yang Huiyan, the richest woman in China.

The Herald has previously reported another major Chinese developer was doing the same thing. Employees of Greenland Australia, a subsidiary of the Chinese government-backed global property giant Greenland Group, were instructed to put their normal work on hold and source bulk supplies of essential medical items to ship back to China.

A whistleblower from the company has told the Herald it was a worldwide Greenland effort - and the Sydney office was no different, sourcing bulk supplies of surgical masks, thermometers, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitisers, gloves and Panadol for shipping.

Man who called 1987 crash says ‘be careful not to mythologize’ coronavirus into a ‘pandemic Godzilla,’ predicts stock market will rebound in a few months

Paul Tudor Jones about coronavirus pandemic: ‘we’re going to kick this bug’s ass’

Billionaire investor Paul Tudor Jones on Thursday said that America will beat the deadly coronavirus pandemic, while sharing his own personal narrative, noting that his daughter contracted the illness recently and has since recovered.

”We are going to quash it and send it back to the oblivion from where it came from” Jones told CNBC during a Thursday morning interview, cautioning that people are “prone to hype things to beyond what they are,” referring to the infectious disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China in December and has infected nearly a half a million people and claimed more than 22,000 lives, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, as of Thursday.

“We’ve got to be careful not to mythologize this into the pandemic Godzilla,” he said. “We can beat this thing,” he added.

Hungary’s demand for guns increases as people grow scared of social upheaval

Gun controls are tight in Eastern Europe as across the rest of the continent, but demand for small arms amid growing anxiety over coronavirus has risen elsewhere in the region. The Czech arms manufacturers association said shop owners had reported rising demand and a double-digit rise in sales reports CNA. Hungarians have sought in increasing number to arm themselves for protection in recent weeks, fearing a possible unravelling of law and order if severe shortages set in as the coronavirus pandemic spreads.

About 300,000 people hold licenses for guns in each of the Czech Republic and Hungary, both with about 10 million inhabitants. Licenses are not mandatory for some light arms.”We are selling five times as much as in a normal March,” said Gabor Vass, who runs three gun shops in the Hungarian capital.

US warship armed with Tomahawk missiles enters Taiwan Strait amid row with China

China blasted the US over the move to sale a warship through the Taiwan Strait, accusing Washington “dangerous” behaviour.

“US moves have seriously interfered in China’s internal affairs, severely harmed peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and poisoned Sino-US military ties,” Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Ren Guoqiang said. Criticizing the US’s “continued negative actions” in Taiwan, Ren warned that US actions were “extremely dangerous.”

Earlier, the US Seventh Fleet reported that the USS McCampbell, an Arleigh Burke-class missile destroyer equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles, carried out a “routine” freedom of navigation mission through the sensitive 180 km-wide Taiwan Strait.

Anthony Junco, a Navy spokesman, said the ship carried out a “routine Taiwan Strait transit March 25 (local time) in accordance with international law.” The ship’s transit, Junco said, “demonstrates the US commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.”

The spokesman added that the Navy would “continue to fly, sail and operate anywhere international law allows.” Taiwan’s military, meanwhile, said it monitored the US destroyer’s movement as it sailed north through the strait.

Ford plans to reopen 4 U.S. assembly plants within weeks

March 26 (UPI) – U.S. auto giant Ford said Thursday it plans to reopen some of its key assembly plants in less than three weeks, in a decision that quickly drew concern from union workers over safety.

The automaker said it aims to restart production at its Hermosillo, Mexico, plant on April 6 and four U.S. plants that make trucks, sport-utility vehicles and vans in Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio and Kansas City eight days later. Five other manufacturing facilities that supply the assembly plants with parts will also go back online.

All the Ford facilities closed last week under pressure from the United Auto Workers to review best practices for worker safety during the coronavirus outbreak.

After spending several days working toward an agreement with UAW, Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler agreed to "rotating" partial plant shutdowns to protect workers from the spread of the disease.
