Could be a drone maybe?
Back in the mid 1980's i was drilling wells around a very small town called Billings, Oklahoma and there was a secrete Air force Base there. No lie we use to see these craft take off and land there that were shaped like the gingerbread man is the closest description i can explain it. Like an X only round in front.
They made no noise that i could tell of but the closest we could ever get was like 1000 ft. because of security. They were very bright at night but zero flashing lights like a normal Air plane.
