If somebody tells you "POTUS claimed that COVID is a hoax" you really should take note that this person is not POTUS and is not the WhiteHouse Press Secretary, and therefore, this person must necessarily be lying.
Same with Putin. When someone tells you what Putin "wants" or what Putin has "done", you need to ask what is the source of this info. As the leader of a major world power, Putin has official sources that provide copious information on his plans and actions. So, if a person cannot point you to an official source, they must be lying.

It is official and packed with info. The same rule applies to leaders of other countries and pretty much every public official. Anyone who accepts hearsay from a journalist who cannot back up their statements with sources, has a mental problem.
