If you do have an substantive "digs" of your own that hinge on media files, and IF they were posted on 8kun (after the relaunch), you can "repopulate" old posts by simply reposting the media files anywhere and linking the digs. The media files will last, it seems, as long as they are in a bread on the catalog.
MOST good stuff never hits notables, and anons who have relied on the good faith of "archivists" have been duped. But we get the last laugh. Still we've got to think on our feet and adapt.
