Anon opinions as to whether the toilet paper panic buying shortage was organic?
Was it a staged event with groups going around buying toilet paper up using sorosbucks or whatever?
Was it caused by a coordinated social media effort? (i.e. pictures claiming panic buying in several cities that were shown to be all at the same costco)
Was it just organic mass hoarding?
Everyone I talk to thinks that that part of it is the wierdest thing. It was the first thing that was becoming unavailable on store shelves vs sanitation, hygeine, and medical products and seems to have started the domino effect even before shelter at home orders were given. Also the most noticeable in people's carts at the store if they were buying a bunch of it and so was everyone else, you would notice. It would be a good way to induce panic because it's something everyone in America uses
