On Christianity's most joyful day, Pope Francis in his Easter Sunday message called for peace in a world marked by war and conflict, "beginning with the beloved and long-suffering land of Syria," and extending to the entire Middle East, the Korean peninsula and parts of Africa affected by "hunger, endemic conflicts and terrorism."

Turning to Asia, Francis hoped that talks underway could bring peace to the Korean peninsula, urging "those who are directly responsible act with wisdom and discernment to promote the good of the Korean people."

A lot of the "Christians" on this board speak to others in a way that seems they haven't even read the Bible. First thing learned in Sunday school was respect and acting Christ like. Interesting…

Religion is entwined with history. Religion serves many purposes. Prayer can mean different things and have different uses for people. Arguing over how real religions are or who's damned is pointless here. It's the same as what shape is the earth. Both are neither for here or now.

Religion is worth researching, not arguing over.
