Lesson learned frome Superb Owl evening (and a few others, like SOTU): the general cannot operate in a complete vaccum separated from real life events.

Individual opinions on how much or how little it is relevant will not change a thing, and more time is wasted trying to stop or herd people away than just letting them post what they want.
