Hope is a thing with feathers analysis
Hope is as a bird within all of us that can sing to inspire the soul when times get hard.
Analogies:
A birds feathers are soft but build strong to fly. The bird must use his strong feathers in unity in order to fly (Stay unified –it is our only hope to fly –to get away. )
While the bird sings it has no words for anyone to understand. (Reinforces the fact that when indicted they will have to sing but don’t say anything that can be understood).
Hope is a deep pure feeling and it can take flight at any time.
The song is endless.
Hope sings the sweetest when times get rough (gale starts to blow). (So in the storm sing but speak no words for anyone to understand)
It would take a hellish storm (angry/abashed-embarrassed) to embarrass the bird or cause lack of communication)
The bird sings in the hardest, coldest time but never asks for anything, even a crumb. (don’t be asking for favors or anything when indictments come.)
The inner voice of hope can be heard within each of us despite the noise at the height of the storm. (Overall a reminder to be self-reliant. The person has been taught and knows what to do during a storm. While its singing noise can be heard, like giving a communication of a poem or last weeks selfie that looked like a mug shot, stay strong and united.)
