>>8597588 Trudeau: Sending troops to border would be a mistake

This is the reason Trudeau doesn’t want military at our Northern Border

Federal Government Amends Order In Council, Loosening CCP Coronavirus Restrictions On Who Can Enter The Country

March 23, 2020

—Parents, step-parents, guardians, and tutors of Canadian citizens and permanent residents can now still enter the country.

—The Trudeau government is loosening restrictions on who can enter the country amid the spreading CCP Coronavirus.

—The Trudeau government is loosening restrictions on who can enter the country amid the spreading CCP Coronavirus.

—The changes were made in an Order in Council, and will significantly expand the exceptions to the border ‘lockdown’:

—“Order in Council 2020-0162 has been amended so that in addition to spouses, common-law partners and children of Canadian citizens and permanent residents their parents, step-parents, guardians and tutors can come too.”

—Right now, Canada needs to be blocking new entry into the country, except for Canadian Citizens – who have the legal right to enter.

—We cannot be dealing with more people entering Canada at a time when we are desperately trying to get the CCP Coronavirus pandemic under control.

REPORT: Liberal Government Leaving Roxham Road Border Open To Illegal Crossers, Contradicting Trudeau’s Previous Claims

March 17, 2020

—Yesterday, Justin said the Canadian border would be closed to all, except for the following:

—Canadian Citizens.

—Permanent Residents.

—US Citizens.

—Diplomats.

—Commerce – Trucks, Essential Workers, etc.

—But now, we can add another group to the list:

—Illegal border crossers.

—“During the news conference @BillBlair confirmed that the illegal border crossing at Roxham Road is and will remain open despite the government saying the borders are closed to all foreign nationals except Americans. And apparently anyone who can get there.”

—According to a Global News report, the illegal crossers will be allowed into Canada, undergoing 24-hour screening:

—“Canadian Minister of Public Safety Bill Blair said Tuesday that in an attempt to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus, those crossing the border irregularly will still be allowed into Canada, but will be subject to medical screening and housed in quarantine when necessary.

—Speaking at a press conference, Blair told reporters that those found crossing the border would be immediately taken into custody, and undergo a 24-hour screening process.”

—‘Note, the Liberals previously claimed screening was in place at airports, something which was revealed as a lie.

—So, with the border remaining open for illegal crossers, many Canadians will only believe anything about ‘screening’ when there’s actual proof, not words.

—Once again, at a time when locked-down borders and honest government statements are required, the Liberals deliver the opposite.

PHOTO: Chart Shows How Terrible The Trudeau Liberals Coronavirus Response Has Been

NewsSpencerFernandoMarch 25, 2020

When the virus could have been stopped, the Liberal government was focused on political correctness and told us it was “low risk.” When it spread out of control, they demanded dictatorial power.

Sometimes, a picture says much more than any amount of words can.

As a writer, even I have to admit that is the case once in a while.

And the picture below says it all about how terrible the Liberals CCP Coronavirus response has been:

There really isn’t much more to say. When the Liberals could have stopped the virus, they didn’t. And when their failure led to mass spreading of the virus, they demanded dictatorial powers.

It’s a combination of incompetence and mendacity that should be chilling to all Canadians. Our health and our democracy are both at serious risk.

__The ethics of journalism clearly state that sources should be named except when the could be in danger, but the journalist should always find secondary sources for confirmation, POTUS is right, before his election rarely were anonymous sources used==

Seek Truth and Report It. Ethical journalism should be accurate and fair. Journalists should be honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information

Journalists should:– Take responsibility for the accuracy of their work. Verify information before releasing it. Use original sources whenever possible.

– Remember that neither speed nor format excuses inaccuracy.

– Provide context. Take special care not to misrepresent or oversimplify in promoting, previewing or summarizing a story.

– Gather, update and correct information throughout the life of a news story.

– Be cautious when making promises, but keep the promises they make.

Identify sources clearly. The public is entitled to as much information as possible to judge the reliability and motivations of sources

Consider sources’ motives before promising anonymity. Reserve anonymity for sources who may face danger, retribution or other harm, and have information that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Explain why anonymity was granted

– Diligently seek subjects of news coverage to allow them to respond to criticism or allegations of wrongdoing.

– Avoid undercover or other surreptitious methods of gathering information unless traditional, open methods will not yield information vital to the public.

– Be vigilant and courageous about holding those with power accountable. Give voice to the voiceless.

– Support the open and civil exchange of views, even views they find repugnant.

– Recognize a special obligation to serve as watchdogs over public affairs and government. Seek to ensure that the public’s business is conducted in the open, and that public records are open to all.

Provide access to source material when it is relevant and appropriate

– Boldly tell the story of the diversity and magnitude of the human experience. Seek sources whose voices we seldom hear.

– Avoid stereotyping. Journalists should examine the ways their values and experiences may shape their reporting.

– Label advocacy and commentary.

Never deliberately distort facts or context, including visual information. Clearly label illustrations and re-enactments

– Never plagiarize. Always attribute.

Minimize Harm

Ethical journalism treats sources, subjects, colleagues and members of the public as human beings deserving of respect.

Journalists should:

– Balance the public’s need for information against potential harm or discomfort. Pursuit of the news is not a license for arrogance or undue intrusiveness.

– Show compassion for those who may be affected by news coverage. Use heightened sensitivity when dealing with juveniles, victims of sex crimes, and sources or subjects who are inexperienced or unable to give consent. Consider cultural differences in approach and treatment.

– Recognize that legal access to information differs from an ethical justification to publish or broadcast.

– Realize that private people have a greater right to control information about themselves than public figures and others who seek power, influence or attention. Weigh the consequences of publishing or broadcasting personal information.

– Be wary of sources offering information for favors or money; do not pay for access to news. Identify content provided by outside sources, whether paid or not.

Be Accountable and Transparent

Ethical journalism means taking responsibility for one’s work and explaining one’s decisions to the public.

Journalists should:

– Explain ethical choices and processes to audiences. Encourage a civil dialogue with the public about journalistic practices, coverage and news content.

– Respond quickly to questions about accuracy, clarity and fairness.

– Acknowledge mistakes and correct them promptly and prominently. Explain corrections and clarifications carefully and clearly.

– Expose unethical conduct in journalism, including within their organizations.

– Abide by the same high standards they expect of others.

Oh hell NO

New York City Wants Taxpayer Bailout for Low Wage Migrant Economy=

Taxpayers should bail out the low-wage migrant workers who support the city’s elite economy during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report by the city’s comptroller, Scott Stringer.

Legal immigrants and illegal migrants are part of the city’s one million population who are “too often ignored, underpaid, and overworked … [and] very often lack healthcare, have to travel long distances to get to work, and struggle with childcare,” said Stringer’s March 26 report.

But Stringer’s plea for a taxpayer bailout of city’s cheap labor economy ignores the reality that Americans are impoverished by the elite’s support for mass migration, said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies.

The report cites impoverished “Nurses, janitors, grocery clerks, childcare staff, bus and truck drivers … those in our social service, cleaning, delivery and warehouse, grocery, healthcare, and public transit industries.”

“Back in the day when these workers were Americans and unionized, they were making more than a living wage,” she said. Before elites encouraged millions of legal and illegal migrants to flood Americans’ workplaces, she said:

People raised their families on those jobs — they were good jobs … They were jobs that people were glad to have, where they could support their families [and homes] on them. They had [medical] benefits. If that was still the system …. they would have good healthcare plans, and they would have sick leave.

Stringer is asking for “taxpayers to subsidize the city’s cheap labor economy,” and to preserve the city’s policy of “corporate welfare through illegal immigration,” Vaughan said.

The disguised plea for the illegal immigration bailout is spotlighted by Stringer’s back-handed admission that “many in New York City are also undocumented, meaning they do all of the above while living in fear of deportation under the current federal administration.”

Stringer’s report touts the city’s high poverty levels, noting that 34 percent of “all frontline workers” are at or below the poverty line. — including roughly 35 percent of rail clerks and 39 percent cleaning workers.

The report shows that 35 percent of cleaning workers and 27 percent of retail workers are either legal immigrants or illegal migrants:

This high-immigration low-wage economic policy is back by business groups that get more consumers, more renters, and more cheap workers. For example, Stringer’s report was touted in a tweet shared by Todd Schulte, the director of FWD.us, an advocacy group that was formed by wealthy West Coast investors:
