Sounds like you're pushing way too much info too fast. Why don't you just stick with getting them on board with the Dem-side of the picture, while peppering in how RINOs (No name, Romney, etc.) are complicit or enabling. Once you get them to realize SOME big name R's are probably on the dirty, THEN you can start into the heavy 9/11 stuff.

That kind of thing (9/11 truth) feels like small potatoes to us because it's been a foundation assumption for many anons for a long time, but realize most of the country still publicly believes the official government narrative: that Bush was merely incompetent in his response to a foreign attack on US soil. You HAVE to start with that in mind, and slowly work your way to the truth or else they'll just spit it back up and think you're crazy.
