If authority, tradition, revelation and dogma are rooted in the Truth, then THIS particular revelation, this dogma, this tradition proffered as it is with such authority, leaves the “free thinker” twisting in a sort of mental pretzel, doesn’t it? I mean, if we’re going to invoke the rules of logic.
And if you question this authority, you are descended upon by flies demanding one’s return to Reddit or suggestions of suicide.
