The ones they sell are a ripoff. You can make an awesome antenna with just a couple spare parts.

Cut the end off a co-axial cable (like an antenna cable) and strip the wires. Do the same with an old extension cord, then connect the two and plug it into an outlet (not a GFI outlet like you'd find in the bathroom.

This method uses ALL of your house wiring as an antenna, and gives you a crystal clear picture.
