The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Fought on April 19, 1775.
This documentary also says that the colonies had figured out the perfect monetary system which caused the British overlords to pass a bill banning the colonies from having their own currency and at the same time introducing the federal reserve. Perhaps the US will be returning to that perfect currency in the near future.
