People get prescribed antibiotics fairly often. But people have good bacteria in their guts, and antibiotics may and often do kill those good bacteria. But those antibiotics are still prescribed, despite the hard to good gut bacteria.

Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are anti parasitic, anti malaria, caused by a parasite. Trump wants people to take this Q drug, or at least let them get it. It might very well kill parasites that you don't know you have. That is a good outcome, despite its effect on coronavirus.

Those are viruses. It would be great if it could work against a variety of viruses, but we know that the Q drugs are FDA approved against parasites.

Yes Democrats want to sell vaccines and yes the Q drugs could cure the flu, and that's not something the Democrats want.

The FDA law, been around 100 years, is terrible.

We should be able to go to the store, to the anti-viral section of the drinks, and buy an anti-viral drink that contains ingredients that are generally accepted as safe and that are known to have effects against various flus. But we can't because of FDA laws.
