Some stuff from Germany (internet is much better today!)

I don't know whether this has been put out already. I heard this a few days ago (probably here or on twit) but it was only just put on TV:
Germany's Health Minister Jens Spahn says "It is still the calm before the storm. Nobody can say what is going to happen in the next few weeks." He is apparently talking about the infection rate of the CV, so basically whether they will be able to flatten the curve.

Meanwhile from Quarantine, Angela Merkel lets it be known that it is too soon to talk about an "exit strategy" (re to the lockdown and restrictions). She askes for patience over the next ten days, although her wording is being criticised by most of her colleagues, on the issue itself some are cautious others want a decision now. Basically people are confused of her using cryptic language. She has tested negative btw but still "chose" to remain in quarantine, communicating over the phone.

Also in the news today:
Jörn Kubicki, partner of former mayor of Berlin and self-proclaimed "lgbtq icon" Klaus Wowereit, died of CV last night.
Wowereit, who left a legacy of financial ruin and failed integration politicies to Berlin in 2014, was considered somewhat of a novelty, primarily known for saying "I am gay and that's good." So, basically the Sadiq Khan of Berlin, getting a pass not because of his religion but because of his sexual orientation. He is often criticized for his lack of initiative and action in politics and his love for partying.
