What makes a good person? Who decides the standards? Who judges? If being a good person is sort of left to changing community standards, on what basis can anyone be judged? Do we want God to judge, or leave it to imperfect people willing to cut corners and have flexible standards?
Don’t be an idiot. Other grannies are just as tough and she’d be the first to tell you that. Most have lived through more life, seen more and experienced more than you can imagine. If they seem sweet and kind, it is because they are wise enough and tough enough to not let life steal their soul.
